Guests

You can have guests, but this should be limited in the number of people you host and in the duration of their stay. If you have a new guest every week, the landlord could complain as there is basically one person more in the flat on a permanent basis, similar complaints will arrive if you host five friends for a weekend.

Visits of new potential tenants

When you give the notice period, deciding to leave the flat in a few months, visits of new potential tenants will start. Needless to say they have the right, as you did when you saw the apartment the first time, to see the flat in order and clean, so please take care of the flat in this delicate period, also in order to minimize the number of visits necessary to close a new rental.

Utility Contracts

When you leave the flat, please check that the gas and electricity bills are back to A2A - in case you change the utility company - as they were given to you at your entrance. Part of our service is to arrange the utility contracts to our clients, providing them with a fully functional apartement. Our experience taught us that the other utility companies present several hurdles when changing the name from the one tenant to another. Problems arising from a different utility operator could cause interruptions of service to the new tenants, the costs related to these issues could be billed to your security deposit, so be aware!
